RIT Objectivist Society Promoting personal responsibility, free markets and rational self interest

The RIT Objectivist Society is an organization within RIT dedicated to among other things encourage personal responsibility,analyze systems of society, and  to promote free markets and rational self interest. Along with these primary goals the ROS (RIT Objectivist Society) also seeks to fulfill several secondary goals among these being addressing  government policy in relationship to free markets and discussing social matter matters in relationship to reasonable self interest; all of these secondary goals being achieved by activism.

ROS is a group dedicated to the ideas of individual liberty and personal responsibility and in doing so will look into different philosophical and economical standpoints. Some of the philosophical standpoints that may be looked into include the works of Adam Smith, John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, Ayn Rand and David Hume. Furthermore ROS will examine the morality of such standpoints and how it all, in reality, affects today's world.
